Worship, The Table Of Contents
Last week we established that most people describe worship when asked to define it. Defined biblically, worship is a life submitted to the Lordship of Christ that ascribes or declares the worth of God. Today we will describe the contents of a life of worship.
From Hebrews 10
True worship contains:
Vs19-21
Being born from above
Vs22
Being forgiven
Vs 23
Being faithful to Christ
Vs 24
Being concerned for others first
Vs 25
Being reliable in assembling together.
Col 3:16
Joyfully singing and teaching
So then, worship, being a lifestyle, is more of what is in our hearts toward God than what comes out of our mouths in church.
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Col 3:17
